I.D. Lite: In addition to the intensive process of full course redesign, we offer a variety of other services catered to the specific needs of faculty and their departments. Though not all inclusive, the examples below allow for an understanding of the range of options available.

  • An instructional design level that focuses purely on learning objectives and options for student assessment and course evaluation.
  • A specialized approach to instructional design that focuses on developing relevant applications of technology within a course
  • A five-step version of a comprehensive instructional design process catered to faculty learning communities

I.D. Lite is an alternate option for staff who seek instructional support outside of the comprehensive model. It doesn't provide the gamut of services in one package as delivered in the comprehensive model; rather, it provides specialized services to meet specific needs within given courses. As in the comprehensive instructional design process, all end product is built on a foundation of sound educational and pedagogical theory. As such, the processes listed above guarantee the integration of theory and practice.
