TELP Linkage

Overview
The TELP linkage between the University of Fort Hare and the University of Connecticut has made excellent progress in its first year. Of particular note have been an effective communication system and the beginnings of substantive relationships between and among individual staff and faculty in the two universities as they exchange ideas, material, and plan workshops and programs.
But beyond the emerging relationship is a broader series of contacts and activities that have helped place the TELP program in a broader context and connect both UConn and Fort Hare to the modern currents of South African society and culture.
