Truly. The winter conference opened windows. It made me feel as if I was bargaining with God for His love, taking advantage of the "entitlement" to be His son, bore anything but humility. Did we really carry our cross? Or as Mr. Bien said, that we are but attempting to "ride the luxurious carriage to heaven"? Have we really focused on Lord and waited for Him, or have we paid way too much attention to ourselves and our place with people and the world? May we all look to the Lord, for He's the source for all love that will make Christian life possible. We talk of opening our hearts' doors to the Lord to non-believers, but how do we Christians keep pride from closing it again? I pray that He will always dwell among us, and that we will be humble enough to look for Him instead of ourselves.
