Back to Brothers Mimi Schreiber Service Mimi has been an active member of Delta Omicron since Spring 2004, and is serving her first year on the Officer Board as Recording Secretary. She is currently one of the saxophone section leaders. She has been in the Men’s Pep Band for the past two years, and has had the privilege to travel to the Big East twice, and the Western Regional in Phoenix, AZ in 2004. Major Mimi is pursuing a Music Education degree, with a minor in history. As an oboist, she currently plays in the award-winning UConn Wind Ensemble, the University Orchestra, and a woodwind quintet. She has also played in the Symphonic Band, and the Huskies On Stage musical production. Last fall, she had the amazing opportunity to perform with the Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall. She also teaches private lessons. Other Mimi is an honors student at UConn. She LOVES spending time with her friends and family, and also enjoys running and spin! I'm a bonified chocoholic...especially when it's combined with peanut-butter! I am an avid sports fan, with my favorite teams being the Huskies (of course!), the Yankees, and the New York Giants!
