The application process is simple. Pick up a copy of the application form from Rose in Room 334 Arjona. Please note that this application must include your e-mail address. If you do not presently have e-mail, you can obtain one from the University free of charge.

The complete application includes:

  1. A copy of your transcript (official or unofficial)
  2. A letter of half a page or more describing which sorts of internships interest you, relevant experiences which you have had, and what you hope to gain from the program. This will help us match you with a suitable placement.
  3. Three teacher recommendations. Your internship application form has checklists which serve as easy "letters" from your instructors' references.
  4. A personal interview with the faculty internship supervisor. Bring your completed application form, transcript and your personal letter with you to this meeting.
  5. A signed contract, which makes plain for both you and your placement supervisors what sorts of work you will be doing and how many hours you will be working.
