Subject: University Space Study


The Office of Cost Analysis (OCA) will be collecting and maintaining information about space usage in your department. This data will be used in the University's next indirect cost proposal and helps support indirect cost reimbursement from externally sponsored programs.

In order to meet reporting deadlines, we're asking that each department appoint a Space Administrator. This person will be responsible for coordinating the data and be our contact with your department.

To kick off this study, each Space Administrator will be asked to attend a training session hosted in the Dodd auditorium. The dates are February 20th and 21st, 9:30 to 11:00. Additional information is available on OCA's web sight. Of course, Deans, Directors and Department Heads are welcome and encouraged to attend.

You are asked to have your Space Administrator call Wendy Salisbury, 6-0942, before February 15th, to register for one of the training sessions. The department space materials will be delivered to the Administrator following training.
