SHPE Conference 2008

- The largest technical Hispanic conference in the nation, concentrates on methods to promote engineering, mathematics and science for Hispanics, and is the premier event for SHPE. Each year, the SHPE Conference attracts 3,000 engineering professionals, students and corporate representatives. The conference is an opportunity for engineering companies and corporations to recruit top talent from SHPE membership. It also provides educational, technical and career opportunities for professional and student engineers.
Regional Leadership Development Conference 2009 (RLDC)

- This program helps college students develop and improve their pre-college outreach programs and improve the infrastructure of SHPE student chapters. Student leaders learn how to interact and network with SHPE's corporate supporters.
National Institute for Leadership Advancement 2009 (NILA)

- Provides SHPE student and professional leaders with the training to improve chapter management and professional development. This event has grown over the years and has not only become a premier event within SHPE Inc., but has also achieved high recognition by our corporate sponsors. This event is exclusively designed to provide newly elected student and professional chapter presidents with the resources for enhancing leadership and communication skills that are required for effectively managing your professional and personal lives. Personal management and strategic planning skills are essential to be successful in your SHPE chapters. Therefore, the NILA committee is dedicated to providing you with some of the integral tools to achieve success in both your chapter and academia. The NILA experience will enhance your opportunities for success!
Eastern Technical Career Conference (ETCC)

- The second largest Hispanic Engineering Conference in the Nation. It is built upon 16 years of excellence and leadership from Region 4. Last year ETCC made tremendous strides in expanding the conference to reach over 1,000 students in attendance as well as having 50 Corporate Sponsors. The goal of ETCC is simple; to help provide an avenue for members to network and build partnerships to help promote the SHPE mission.
