Stock Market Simulation
Overview
In this stock market simulation, you are given $500,000 of
imaginary money. You can use this money to buy common stocks
and some mutual funds (see below for details). At the end of
the playing period, the winner is the player with the highest
portfolio value.
Signing up
Go to www.virtualstockexchange.com
Click on ‘Register now’. You will be asked to provide a
username and password as well as some personal information
(address, etc). Once you’ve filled in all the required
fields, click ‘Submit registration’. That’s it! You’re
ready to go!
Once you’re registered and logged in, click on
‘competitions’.
Enter the competition ID (UConnEcon) and Password (stiver)
to Join
